We have been operating since December 2003.
What is your format?
The music selection is primarily Metal, Hard Rock, Alternative.
Do you take requests?
The simple answer is YES. There are two ways to request music to play on v103 Rock. The first way is our AUTO requests system which you will find on our Request Page. You can request two (2) songs every twenty (20) minutes, and your requests will play with in one (1) hour of the request per DMCA rules. The other way to request is when we have a LIVE show on the station, you can ask the DJ for a song to be played via our chat room
How is music received for play on v103 Rock?
Most of the music is delivered to us by email at rock@v103.net via digital download MP3 128bit or better. Some of our music has to be obtained by other means, which means an outright purchase. This is only one of the reasons we ask you to consider donating to v103 Rock.
Is it possible to get my own music played on v103 Rock?
Yes. We encourage Local/Unsigned bands from around the world to submit their music for rotation.
How is the station funded?
V103 Rock is listener supported. We are deeply grateful to our listeners who benefit from the music of v103 Rock and recognize the need to help support it.
We are also looking into web site advertising and stream advertising, but have not embarked on that avenue as of yet. The station is not for profit, though we are not registered as a not for profit organization. As funding allows, we desire this for the future.
Does the station pay music royalties?
Yes. V103 Rock licensing is supplied with a blanket license by our friends at Loudcity, which provides licensing for ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and SoundExchange. Licensing is one of our major expenses on a month to month basis.

Do you share any information about your listeners?
The easy answer is NO personal information is shared with anybody outside of the v103 Rock family. For a look at our Privacy Policy, click here.
Finally, all music played and listener counts are logged by our licensing agency, LoudCity, for reporting purposes pertaining to royalties the station pays to record companies, composers and recording artists. No personal user information is shared with LoudCity.
